Chocolate Crepes

These chocolate crepes are a delicious dessert or snack.


  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ¾ cups of milk
  • cups of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp superfine sugar or to taste
  • 3 tbsp melted butter


  • Beat the eggs, butter, sugar, and milk in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and cocoa powder.
  • Add dry mixture to wet mixture and beat until a loose batter is formed - it will be much runnier than pancake batter.
  • For easy pouring, add the batter to a pitcher, or use a ladle or measuring cup to put the batter into the pan.
  • Heat a shallow skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon of butter.
  • Cook till the middle is set, and flip the crepe to cook the other side.
  • Repeat the process until the batter is finished.


You can enjoy these crepes any number of ways!  Some of our favorite topping options are vanilla ice cream, powdered sugar, or berry compote.
